Painter, photographer, filmmaker. His first photographs date from 1945. He moved to Paris in 1952 and became artistic director at Galeries Lafayette. Noticed by Helen Lazarev, he entered in 1959 ELLE magazine, he brings an innovative tone for fashion photography and their layouts. He is also the director of the famous television show shifted “Dim Dam Dom”.
The exhibition is on two themes: “Branded Women,” a vision of fashion 1960-1980 period and “the color of my skin,” a serie produced in 2004 in an artistic exchange between France and Brazil : portraits with matching the pantone references for each skin color.
A look at the women he has not stopped photographing for 50 years …
